Yoga Classes

Blissful Mothers offers a range of yoga classes including Pregnancy or Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Mums and Bubs, Restorative Yoga (great if you are exhausted, stressed or experiencing overwhelm) and Womens Yoga (to help you boost your general health and wellbeing through honouring your menstrual cycle or or supporting you on your journey to conceiving a baby.) I also offer private or small group sessions which are the perfect opportunity to enjoy an even more tailored experience of yoga.

Pregnancy Yoga

Nourish and nurture yourself throughout pregnancy, through yoga asana (postures), breath-work and meditation.

Whether you have a regular yoga practice and now want a class taking account of your specific needs through pregnancy, or you have never done yoga before and want to learn helpful breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques. Perhaps you want to strengthen your body in preparation for birth? This classes will help support you through pregnancy, prepare for birth and beyond as you transition in to your role as a mother. Classes are tailored to the needs of pregnant women and are suitable for all women regardless of yoga experience, with adjustments made for each trimester and for your individual needs. Ideal from 12-14 weeks onwards.

Carve out a special time that allows a focus entirely on you. Find some stillness in your busy week to really tune in to yourself and baby whilst building strength and stability and maintaining mobility.

This class runs Saturdays at 10am- 11am, term time only at Downward Dog Hot Yoga Studio @ Noosa Marina.

Classes are NOT HEATED 

Term dates: 13th October - 15th December

Cost: $175 for 10 week term, $100 for 5 week pass or $24 casual class.

Mums and Bubs Yoga

An opportunity for new mothers to rest,  restore, and to safely strengthen the body after pregnancy and birth, whilst maintaining connection with their Baby during the early days of motherhood. 

Join us for a relaxed class which makes space for yours and babies needs.  Enjoy an hour on the mat with baby alongside you. You are very welcome to attend to your babies needs throughout the class whether that be cuddles, feeding or sleep. Ideally for women who are at least 6 weeks postpartum and babies not yet on the move. If you have had a caesarean birth or delivery complications then any wounds should be completely healed before attending this class. 

This class runs Tuesday mornings 9:15am-10:15am  term time only at Downward Dog Hot Yoga Studio @ Noosa Marina.

Term dates: 9th October - 11th December 2018

Postnatal Yoga

Postnatal yoga is an opportunity to rest and restore during the early days of motherhood, whilst safely strengthening the body after pregnancy and birth. Focused on providing time for the mother to nurture herself and regain or maintain that connection with the present moment - something easily lost amidst the busyness of having a new baby to look after, the class will help build or maintain strength and stability physically as well as providing release.

Ideal for women who are at least 6 weeks postpartum. If you have had a caesarean birth or delivery complications then any wounds should be completely healed first. This is a gentle class but you are best waiting until you feel ready. Before 6 weeks it’s best to focus on breathwork, meditation, rest and some gentle movements for the upper body to help any aches from the early days spent holding baby and feeding.

I currently offer small group sessions or 1:1 sessions either at your home or at a beautiful local studio.  Perhaps your birth group, antenatal group or you and your mama friends would like your own dedicated class? With small groups there’s the option of a warming cup of tea and light snacks after class with an opportunity for sharing, discussion and self inquiry. This is a beautiful time to honour your inner Goddess and to connect and bond with other mums.

Tailored Private or small Group Sessions

My one to one or small group sessions are the perfect opportunity to get a class tailored to your needs both in terms of time, location. I provide everything you need for the class (mats, blocks, bolsters) and the sessions can include yoga for Pregnancy or the Postpartum period, Womens Yoga, Restorative, Yin or gentle Vinyasa Flow Yoga

I offer private sessions in the comfort of your own home where we can take the time to look at your needs and tailor the session specifically for you. I also offer small group sessions with 2-4 people. Don’t have a space suitable? With prior notice sessions can be run at a beautiful local boutique studio.
