Testimonials

"I feel very lucky to have had Anne as my yoga teacher through my pregnancy. I had done yoga off and on before becoming pregnant but this felt very different, my body was changing and I felt unsure about how to move or what was ok. Anne created such a reassuring and safe space, a quiet place to feel into my new body, to connect with what was growing inside and to collect my thoughts or often strong emotions. Thank you for supporting me into this new chapter in my life!"   Rebecca.

"Anne is an amazing yoga instructor, I joined Anne's prenatal classes when I was pregnant with my first child and felt a great sense of connection and grounding when I was there. Always approachable and engaging, Anne's classes were the highlight of my week."  Erin

Hi, I’m Anne.

I’m passionate about ensuring new mothers have the support they need to flourish. I want you to feel supported as you learn the huge new skill of being a mother and to feel nourished and nurtured, so that you in turn can nourish and nurture your baby.

I’ve been teaching yoga for 7 years, with a specialism in pregnancy and postnatal yoga for most of that time. I love supporting women with yoga through their pregnancy and postpartum. So why the postpartum support?

Having been knee deep in motherhood and around new mothers through pregnancy and postnatal yoga for over 5 years, what I hear from so many parents is ‘why did no one tell me’, ‘no one talks about the hard stuff’ or ‘if I’d only known then what I know now’.  The saying 'it takes a village to raise a child' has been one close to my heart since giving birth to my eldest son. Our metaphorical village was pretty small. I struggled. When I realised that we needed more support, that I needed more support, as fantastic as my husband was, there was no one providing what I needed. I realised that it didn’t just take a village to raise a child, it takes a village to raise a mother. That was when I decided to become a postpartum doula and help make a difference for other women making the transition to motherhood. As a result I have developed a service to bring that much needed to support to new mothers in my community, through both yoga, postpartum  preparation and support once your newborn arrives.

I’m honoured to be able to support women as they make the transition to motherhood, or grow their family further. Parenting is a journey destined to have many ups and down. My aim is to make your passage to motherhood as blissful as possible.
